What is keeping you from opening your indoor golf center? Is it a fear of the unknown, worry about the worst case scenario, or is it more a lack of time or money? Perhaps it is a lack of advice, information, support or confidence. I've recently interviewed an indoor golf facility owner and shared his advice on my blog.
Before you rush off to check the blog, let me share a personal story. I am one of the 2/3 of people that always dreamed of owning their own business. For a long time I was also part of the 1/3 that never attempted to own a business. I wanted the perfect idea, at the perfect time with a guarantee of success. After I'd abandoned what seemed like 1,000 ideas, I realized it was never going to happen if I didn't see at least one idea through.
With that, I decided to start small, follow lean startup principles and get a product out there to see if it was going to be a success or not. After seeing some initial success, I made a much bigger commitment and now have a fulfilling (and profitable) business.
Maybe indoor golf is the right idea for you to see through, maybe it is not. I hope you at least learn from the articles and my material and find your passion and your success.
