Students often ask me which golfer has the best swing. In essence, they are asking whom to copy. Based on pure technical skill, the obvious choices would be Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy and Jason Day. While we are awe-struck by their ability to launch a ball over three hundred yards consistently, I would not recommend these players as role models for the once-a-week golfer. If proper technique isn't the criteria, then which player could serve as a role model for the "average" golfer? In this article, you will learn the three "P's" that Jordan Spieth has mastered, and how you can adapt them to reduce your score by at least five strokes without changing your swing.
