PXG, purveyors of everybody's least or most favorite (perspective, right?) brand of premium-priced golf equipment, has just announced its new Bat Attack putter.
Inspired and in use by Women's World #1, Lydia Ko, the Bat Attack is a face-balanced, mallet-style putter, with a high MOI. The signature Bat Attack wings are exactly one ball width apart, which PXG says is designed to help with alignment.
The putter's body is milled from aircraft-grade aluminum. The 304SS milled face is supported by PXG's TPE insert for enhanced feel and consistency across the face.
Specifications
The Bat Attack is available in weights of 350g, 375g, and 500g. The wings of the heavier models are constructed from tungsten, while stainless steel is used in the 350g model.
Retail price for the Bat Attack is $550. At it should always be, fitting is included in the cost.
