So The Masters is always at Augusta, but the other Majors switch courses. What course do you guys think is THE course, for the other three majors.

I was talking with my Dad the other day and it came up that we both felt the US Open is not THE US Open unless it's at Pebble Beach. Similar sentiments for me regarding the British Open being at St. Andrews were not shared by my father who likes the British Open being all over Britain. We both sort of agreed that the PGA Championship wasn't all that big of a deal and didn't quite have the same 'THIS COURSE ONLY' feel, however, upon reflection, I feel like Valhalla is the closest to it, though not quite hitting the mark.

To Recap,

US Open: Pebble Beach

British Open: St. Andrews

PGA Championship: Valhalla, or maybe Oak Hills East Course.
