Moment Of Inertia

Most golfers who read or know a little bit about the golf club know that the acronym "MOI" means moment of inertia. The higher the MOI, the more forgiving the club head is on off-center hits. That means less distance lost on off-center hits. Putting more weight around the perimeter of the head raises the MOI.
